Signs Your AC Might Need Repairs
Uneven Cooling
You know, when some rooms feel like a sauna while others are chilly. If your AC or Heat Pump struggles to distribute heat properly, it probably needs attention.
Excessive Noise
If you’re hearing banging, ratting, whirring, grinding, or squealing, you may have a part loose that needs repair right away before it causes even bigger issues.
Bad Smells
Gas leaks can be dangerous, so if you smell something like that coming from your Heat Pump or AC, don’t hesitate. Act immediately.
Broken Thermostat
If your thermostat is set to a low temperature and the unit does not start, it could be malfunctioning or need recalibration.
Frequent Cycling
Frequent cycling on and off (short-cycling) indicates your AC isn’t operating at its best.
Rising Energy Costs
Higher bills without increased usage suggest your AC or Heat Pump is working harder and less efficiently due to mechanical issues.
Got a Heat Pump? We fix those, too.
Is your heat pump acting up? Whether it’s making strange noises, not heating or cooling properly, or driving up your energy bills, we’ll diagnose and fix the problem fast. At Blues Heating and Air, we keep heat pump repair costs reasonable and get your comfort back on track.
